My site broke — what do I do? Where can I report bugs? Where can I request new features, themes, and extensions? WooCommerce is awesome! Can I contribute? My question is not listed here. Where can I find more answers? It's the monolith for WordPress plugins in the ecommerce space, and for good reason. Woocommerce has pretty much everything you need for selling products online, and these days many other additional plugins will support it and extend its functionality.
The only thing I wish we could see from Woocommerce is making visual customization a bit easier. Things like editing what the Product or Cart pages look like are unnecessarily painful and could benefit from a visual editor. Plus, all the documentation for the Woocommerce plugin is in need of improvement, because most of it is just the code without any help for how the variables are interconnected and what they do.
If you're doing nothing advanced, this is a spectacular online shopping plugin. WooCommerce is great for E-Commerce. You can do and create almost everything. There are only few limits. In some setups WooCommerce will literally not work with at least some custom snippets! In such a case, an optimized shop might become very expensive. In this case I would recommend Shopify. Though, many other e-commerce-systems have similar issues even the so-called "enterprise-e-commerce-systems".
